Job Title: Marketing Support Specialist

Position Summary:

Responsible for the support of specific marketing plans and the tactical execution of activities for branding, digital marketing and specific products launches to establish, enhance or distinguish placement within the competitive arena. Reporting to the Global Product Manager, you will play a key role in the execution of launch plans for HIV-Syphilis and future product lines.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Marketing plans and tactical execution:

  • Assist to develop and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives including development of program content
  • Manage the key brand activities from project brief to execution based on yearly marketing plans
  • Manage and maintain digital activity which includes managing and creating content for email marketing campaigns, landing page creation, social media scheduling, image creation, awareness day campaigns and live videos. Experience with HubSpot Marketing Software a plus.
  • Maintain the company’s new website in WordPress and update as needed with support of the development team
  • Manage Training of New Employees, Distributors, Outside Sales Reps of Product Portfolio.
  • Sales Support: manage marketing material development, execution, and distribution to ensure salesforce have tools required to proactively drive sales.
  • Engage with Telemarketing to support with lead entry.
  • Manage the internal marketing materials review and approval process
  • Work with local creative and production agencies to develop communication strategies & tactics
  • Manage the virtual and in person trade show program to establish company brand & generate leads. This includes planning logistics, booth design and marketing strategy. Lead product demonstrations at trade shows.
  • Manage Company Sales Meeting and Distributor Meetings: Includes planning and hotel logistics, strategy and theme of meeting, designing trainings, activities, food and beverage.
  • Generate periodic reports on projects to senior management

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Submission Support which includes updating Package Inserts, Labeling and Quick Reference Instructions for submission.
  • Manage relationship with commercial printers and outside vendors in regards to labeling updates and proofs

Qualifications Required:

Candidates should possess the following experience, abilities, and attributes

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or biology (BS)
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ marketing experience preferably in Diagnostics or Medical Devices
  • A hands-on, well- organized, analytical, creative, and strategic thinker equally capable of tactical execution and results
  • Ability to operate independently without frequent supervision or guidance.
  • Personal attributes to enable success in a dynamic organization: work ethic, persistence, tenacity, creativity, confidence, positive attitude, energy, team player, customer focus, resilience, stress tolerance, problem solving, flexibility, persuasiveness and the ability to take risks.
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to fluid product line changes.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, and a desire and ability to lead / motivate / inspire the sales team to ensure product portfolio revenue targets are achieved.
  • Solid business finance acumen – strong numerical skills
  • Exposure to a highly-regulated environment
  • Experience in development of digital marketing assets and content needed
  • Experience in developing market research reports to guide on product launches and presentations
  • Experience working within compliance guidelines
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with a Sales CRM System
  • Must be able to travel 10% or more or as required
